Pro Tech Mechanical was established in March of 2000 as a Commercial HVAC Service Company and is now a full MEP Mechanical Contractor. We work in Federal, Industrial and Commercial areas as well as providing all types of new and retrofit installations covering the entire South Texas Region. We specialize in; HVAC Central Plant Renovation, Project Management, All Makes and Models of Commercial HVAC, Building Control Systems, Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Chemical Treatment, and Water Evaporation Credits . Our key strengths have been alerting the central plant owners of energy waste from inefficient equipment, project managing jobs to save dollars on large projects, and providing years of experience and expertise to our customers. Dan Whiteside

president

Mr. Whiteside's professional experience includes many different areas in the HVAC Services industry. Dan's 40 years of experience covers many diverse areas including serving as the branch manager for McQuay Service (Dallas) and Carrier BSS (Corpus Christi). While working for McQuay Service, Dan was also a Lead Chiller Technician for several years and was involved with onsite chiller performance testing. Dan also worked for Johnson Controls as a Lead Technician. His duties included Project Management of central plant renovations as well as chiller rebuilds. All of this before founding and managing Pro Tech Mechanical over the last 20years.

Mike Richter

Mr. Richter's professional experience includes many different areas in the HVAC Services industry. He acquired knowledge of control systems at Johnson Controls, as a Chiller Technician. During that time Mike was involved in the development of processes to streamline controls installation. During his development and training at the Local Union 211, Mike experienced chiller teardowns, computer DDC system installation and advanced HVAC application experience. Carrier Building System and Services used his experience to manage jobs and oversee personnel on projects. All of this before joining Dan in founding and managing Pro Tech Mechanical over the last 20years.

Bryan Partridge

general manager

Mr. Partridge brings a diverse professional experience and operational leadership spanning 30 years. Bryan started his career as an Aviation Electrician in the US Navy for 8 ½ years spending time on the West Coast and East Coast as well as being part of the Desert Storm Naval Forces. After Bryan’s military service he spent 19 years in the Oil and Gas Market working for FMC Technologies. At FMC Technologies Bryan started his career at the ground level as a Test Technician and worked his way into Field Service Engineering in custody transfer metering. Bryan travelled to all corners of the globe directing and commissioning metering systems for clients such as Chevron, Shell, BP, Saudi Aramco and many others. He worked his way into Field Service Management, Technical Services Management and eventually went on to become the Operations Manager for the Lube Oil Blending and Transfer division in Chicago. After Bryan’s time in Chicago he came back to Texas and back to the Aftermarket segment as the Director of Global Aftermarket for the newly merged TechnipFMC and stayed in this role for just over 1year. After an extremely successful career in the Oil and Gas Market Bryan made the tough decision to resign and join his good friend Dan Whiteside, President/Owner of Pro Tech Mechanical, in building and growing Pro Tech Mechanical into a force to be reckoned with in the Commercial HVAC Industry. Bryan joined Pro Tech in September 2017 as the General Manager and Pro Tech is growing and thriving and becoming the best Mechanical Contractor in South Texas.

Tiffany Whiteside

Chief Financial Officer

Tiffany Whiteside serves as Chief Financial Officer of Pro Tech Mechanical, Inc. She joined the company in October 2017 with more than 20 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Management, Construction and Inventory Management as well as Corporate Compliance. Prior to joining Pro Tech Mechanical, Inc, Mrs. Whiteside spent 13 years in the Oil and Gas Industry with FMC Technologies and TechnipFMC. She started as a Job Cost Accountant and worked her way through multiple positions to become Divisional Controller for FMC Measurement Solutions. During her career with FMC Technologies, Mrs. Whiteside developed a broad understanding of accounting principles working in Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Finance. She spent time traveling internationally and became well versed in international accounting standards and financial reporting. As Divisional Controller, she managed 4 locations including Corpus Christi TX, Lenexa KS, Erie PA and Kongsberg Norway. Mrs. Whiteside was highly regarded as an expert in Project Accounting at FMC Technologies and received many corporate accolades during her time there. Pro Tech Mechanical, Inc has been a part of Mrs. Whiteside’s life for almost 20 years as the wife of company President, Dan Whiteside. In 2016-2017 Pro Tech Mechanical focused heavily on the construction side of the business and experienced rapid success. There was a need for stronger financial management and development/implementation of job related processes and controls. In October 2017 Mrs. Whiteside left her successful career at FMC Technologies to dedicate her full attention to the growth and success of Pro Tech Mechanical, Inc. Mrs. Whiteside holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Jeremy Fojtik

Estimating Manager

Mr. Fojtik leads Pro Tech’s team of estimators with nearly two decades of experience in all facets of the HVAC industry.  Jeremy began his career in the wholesale HVAC industry supporting the independent contractor with their daily product and equipment needs, but most importantly, business development.  The company motto “Our Support - Your Success”.  Jeremy has carried that motto throughout his career and not only supports his clients in this same manner, but his colleagues as well.  Jeremy’s thirst for knowledge grew into wanting to learn more about the “other end” of the business he supported throughout the years.  In 2009, Jeremy took a leap of faith and began working with a residential/light commercial contractor in the coastal town of Rockport, TX.  His passion for the industry only continued to grow until a few years later he thought he’d met his match after moving into the heavy commercial HVAC market.

Since Sandra Garza joined the Pro Tech team, she has had a compassion for helping employees whenever possible and promoting a positive workplace culture.  Her background consists of over twenty years of executive level support which included supporting and leading the human resource department. Sandra brings five years of experience as an HR leader with a proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development. Sandra is excited about being a part of a dynamic and growing team, eager to contribute her HR proficiency to fuel the company’s expansion and success.

Johnny Cole

service manager

Johnny came to Pro Tech in August 2019 and was a Senior Service Technician in the field until September of 2020. He brought with him over 20 years’ experience in the HVAC industry including time as the Commercial Service Manager for one of the largest HVAC companies in the San Antonio & Austin market. He has served two separate times for the USAF. His time in the military and previous experience has been able to help him understand the importance of developing team players in the growing HVAC industry. When Johnny is not at work, he can be found at home working with his amazing wife remodeling their house. If by chance he has any spare time from all of that he will usually be found by some water trying to catch fish.
